Italian Prepositions

Still working on this post 🧸

Another grammar study?! Yep. Learning Italian, we simply can‘t escape from grammar. So, let‘s embrace it! In fact, until I was introduced to Italian, other then in school grammar was taught with English language which was not my interest and thus I did not give much attention. I‘ve had no dealings with grammar even though with the construction of sentences, obviously grammar is involved but I just don‘t notice it. Chinese is my mother-tongue and the teachers did not even stress on Chinese grammar which is much more simple than Italian. I just read, write or speak English and Chinese Mandarin since I was young without paying attention on the grammar I‘m using anyway. Now, with Italian language, I‘m re-learning English grammar as well since there are many similarities in these 2 languages. Talking about kill 2 birds with 1 stone. Alrightie, cominciamo!

Preposition shows how people and things relate to the rest of the sentence. It connects different parts of a sentence and affects the meaning of a noun, verb or adjective.
